Brought up in the Swindon area, I have expert knowledge of the region – in particular West Swindon. I was trained up in another successful local firm before joining Richard James in 2007. I launched and headed up the West Swindon office in 2011, and we’re now the number one agent in the area. I’m proud that we’ve raised standards to a new level, and that so many clients return to us and recommend us.
It only seems like yesterday walking into the Richard James Office to start my first day with new inspiration, a passion for sales and most important to me the opportunity to help people achieve their dreams, that was 13 years ago! Everyday is a pleasure to come to work with such a committed team of people.
A recent addition to the Richard James team, I’m based in the Highworth office. I live in the Old Town, but before that I was a resident of Shrivenham, where I was an active member of the community – I sang in choral groups and also gave solo concerts. My previous career spanned 25 years as a legal accounts manager with a local firm of solicitors.
I’m a Gloucester girl who moved to Swindon more than 20 years ago, and I’ve since enjoyed a lifetime at Richard James! I joined when the company first opened in a very small office in Wroughton, back in the good old days before computers, mobile phones and social media. I’ve held roles in both sales and lettings since then, in three different offices, and it’s been great to see the company come so far.
As the newest member of the team, I’m just settling in at Richard James and Home Finders. I’ve worked in the property industry for over 30 years though, and after having a short break I’m raring to go and get back out there! I love meeting new and existing landlords, helping them find their ideal tenant and looking after them the whole way through the process.
I’ve spent 10 years working in residential lettings in Wiltshire, for both corporate and independent agencies, which has given me a wealth of knowledge. I joined Richard James and Home Finders in June 2013, and I love it here! I have a Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Management (NFOPP), and I’m also ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) qualified.
I joined Richard James over 16 years ago, coming from a New homes sales background to progress the companies sales. My duties have evolved over the years, however sales progressing is still my first love! I enjoy going that extra mile for vendors and buyers to ensure that they achieve their dream home.
For the last 6 years I have combined my sales progressing role with that of Old Town branch manager. I hope that my drive, ambition, knowledge and love of the company are passed on in some small way to my colleagues.
I’ve been with Richard James and Home Finders for more than six years, and enjoy all aspects of my job. I love meeting people – no two people are the same! Because I have a strong customer service background I really appreciate what landlords need from a service point of view. I’m currently based in the Shaw office, so if you have a property in the area feel free to pop in and say hello.
I’ve accumulated a vast knowledge of the sale and letting of all types of property during my decade in the property industry. My earlier career saw me working in Buckinghamshire and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, as well as the Swindon area. I enjoy road cycling – I’ve completed a Lands End to John O’Groats charity cycle, and can often be seen out and about sporting a Richard James top!
I have been working at Richard James for nearly a year now and all my colleagues have made me feel really welcome. I had no experience of estate agency before I started the job but I received all the help and training I needed and felt part of the team straight away. I really enjoy the job as you get to meet new people every day and help them find their dream home, and work in a friendly environment.
I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge in my 10 years with Richard James, having experienced both thriving and telling market conditions, and worked in all five of our offices – starting as a Saturday girl in Wroughton, to helping set up our West Swindon base. I’m proud to have been a part of our ESTA award-winning lettings team, and I’m committed to offering the same level of service over the next decade.
I have 10 years’ experience of working in residential sales in Wiltshire, and since I’ve been at our Wroughton office I’ve developed a passion for rural properties and quirky character homes. I enjoy dealing with the wide variety of clients and their properties. I’m proud that so many people return to us and recommend us because we work hard to achieve the best results for them.
I joined Richard James in November 2011 through the apprenticeship scheme and Into my third year now and looking back it couldn't have gone any better. From a youngster starting off with no experience, I couldn't drive and I was completely fresh to the world of estate agency. Three years on I'm driving around doing deals In a company car and enjoying every minute of it.
Having joined Richard James in November 2012 as an apprentice in the office I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here gaining lots of experience in the industry. I have learnt an incredible amount in that time and its a great environment with lots of experience around me. Having now been taken on full time it’s great to be part of a really pro-active team not just in Old Town but Richard James as a whole.
I’ve been the Inventory Clerk at Richard James for just over a year now, and it’s my job to deliver detailed, impartial and professional reports for our clients. I came to the company with no experience in this field, but thanks to good training and invaluable support I’m now confident in my role, and I know I’m considered an important member of the team.
I have worked for Richard James for the past 8 years, I started in the Commercial Road office working with the Sales team. I shortly changed teams and moved into Lettings . When the Old Town office opened I re-joined the Sales team there as the office administrator and I now keep on top of the administration in this very busy office.
I’ve been a Lettings Negotiator for seven years – I really enjoy finding people a new home, and the sheer variety the job brings. My background is in administration, and I’ve just taken on the role of Administration Manager in our Commercial Road office. I’m proud to be part of this award-winning team, and loved collecting our ESTA awards four years in a row!
I've been an estate agent in the Swindon area for 35 years, and have experienced just about every situation imaginable! I've acquired a deep understanding of what's involved in selling property here. Based Based in west Swindon since 1995, I joined Richard James in 2011 and I’m proud of the standards we achieve, as well as being a part of Swindon’s number one agent.
I’ve worked for Richard James for almost three years now – in the lettings department first of all, then I moved to the sales team. I can safely say that no two days are ever the same! I’m an enthusiastic individual, and I like being around others who are similar – it creates a good and busy working environment. I love meeting new people and helping them find their perfect home.
Based in our Old Town office, I focus purely on putting new properties on the market and finding the ideal tenant for them. I’ve worked in the lettings industry for 14 years now, and I’m really proud to be part of the Richard James team. I love what I do! I’m a motivated and obsessed estate agent, with 15 years of knowledge and experience gained entirely around the Swindon area. I get particular job satisfaction from exceeding clients’ expectations, and feel it’s always necessary to go that extra mile when it comes to customer service. If achieved, the result will be personal recommendations and repeat business, which is paramount.
Brought up in Wroughton, I have an expert knowledge of the area – and 10 years in residential sales has given me a thorough understanding of marketing and selling property locally. Excellent customer service is very important to me, and I enjoy creating tailored marketing packages for each client. I’m currently studying for a RICS-accredited degree in Estate Management.
Having spent 10 years working in sales I have recently taken on a new and very challenging role providing support to the whole company and helping it develop and grow. This role is superb and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Getting involved in our creative marketing and helping to support all of the team and Richard himself is a great opportunity for me and I am enjoying every minute.
